I think my pilot light is out...my leg is healing from my fall but I don't want to do anything....and I don't want to do anything about not wanting to do anything...
This little profile portrait is so beautiful! I never want to do anything either - if that is any kind of consolation. Can't leave pilot lights out though. Hope you got someone to light that for you. Be careful!
thank you both for the advice...I think you're both right...I know I need the rest but I'm worried about the will not coming back...like Autumn says, I must "be careful" ...also I tend not to talk about it so that anyone can help...I just write about things. Maybe I'll try kicking myself today...we'll see...don't feel like it..haha.
wow... with this drawing I had to go check out your profile to see if you're a professional artist. Its wonderful!! (the profile didn't say, however.)
You know what they say... an object in motion tends to stay in motion. Don't worry. Once you start 'motion-ating' you'll keep moving. No need to rush to do something rash!
Hi, it's me, Em. You may not know who janenjim or frinkster are -- names Guess Who chose because of our online retirees' connections. Anyway, your profile portrait of Holland is one of the best pieces you've ever done. If this is what happens when your pilot light is out, you might want to reconsider getting it relit! Just kidding. Seriously, your body is trying to tell you something. You've suffered both injury and insult and need time to heal from the outside in. When your body says it's ready to get up and go again, your head will naturally follow. And who says "just writing about things" isn't good? Writing is a wonderful catharsis. Keep doing it when you feel like it -- which I hope is often.
I am glad to hear the leg is feeling better...But, a pleasing land of drowsyhead...we all need once in awhile...Take time to heal and you will be hopping around like a bunny, before you know it....
text me next time you have something worth reading
thank you, Megha

The Law of the Jungle
Now this is the Law of the Jungle- as old and as true as the sky: And the Wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the Wolf that shall break it must die.
Wash daily from nose-tip to tail-tip: drink deeply, but never too deep: ...remember that night is for hunting, and forget not the day is for sleep

ReplyDeleteGood that your leg is healing. It is also good to not want to do anything. YOu need to rest. The want to will come back.
